LTSC HISTORY
In 1973 Lift Truck Service Center Inc. was started by Hollis and Carl Morehead. Hollis had 21 years experience and Carl had 11 years experience with local forklift dealers. Initially the company was started to be a parts and service facility.
In 1975 Datsun, which later became known as Nissan Forklifts, came to us and asked us to become a material handling dealer for their brand. Lift Truck Service Center Inc. has been a Nissan dealer for 42 years now. In those 42 years, the company has been a Top Ten dealer 20 plus times and has also received the Presidential Award for Dealer Excellence. Other lines LTSC has picked up to compliment the material handling lines include Powerboss Sweepers and Scrubbers, Princeton Piggyback forklifts, Linde Forklifts, Heli Forklifts, and Barrett forklifts.
In 2011, LTSC became a construction equipment dealer, partnering with JCB, Doosan, Liebherr, and ASV. In doing so, the company’s goals are to become a top-selling construction equipment dealer in Arkansas.
The company was started as a full service repair facility for all brands of forklifts and still operates under that principle today. It is a family owned and operated company with first and second generations still hard at work to service our customers.
Lift Truck Service Center Inc. has been doing sales, service, and parts for ABF, Union Pacific Railroad, and Allen Canning/De Monte for 40 years. The company employs just under 90 people with a combined 875 plus years experience in the material handling and construction equipment lines.
